User authorization: Quick reports Dimension mapping Data imports Creation of dimensions, data tables and extended amount types

User authorization:

The User Authorization documentation describes how to configure and manage permissions for reports in the Web Client .

Different levels of permissions are covered:

Reports – Setting which reports a user or group can see and open.

Individual reports can be made available to users.
The second option would be if an entire report group is released →Reports are assigned to report groups - these report groups can be released to users.
Users gain access to these report groups either through roles or through individual sharing or blocking for selected users.

Access to data sets – regulates which data a user can see within a report:

Security filters can be used to restrict data, for example, by department or location.

In addition, there are functions for:

  • Setting up and assigning roles, report groups and filters,
  • individual authorization control per report or report group ,
  • Auditing of report access by administrators.

The goal is flexible and exact control of report usage and data visibility in the system.

Quick reports

The Quick Reports documentation explains how to easily create reports and dashboards by using pre-defined fields. No further knowledge is required. The selectable fields and amount types already have the necessary settings (data preparation, filter settings) and only need to be inserted in the correct places.

The documentation includes the structure, design and some additional settings (e.g. further data filtering, formatting, diagrams,…)
