Elimination and share calculation
In this step, the actual consolidation calculations are performed. Based on the defined shares and consolidation method, the postings for the respective consolidation group are made. Intercompany postings are also eliminated in this step. Currency translation is still performed at this point based on the transaction or original exchange rates. Currency translation according to the consolidation specifications will be performed in a later step.

1.) Setting the month for the consolidation to be performed. Settings in the report always apply from the month in which they are entered and remain until the next change.
2.) In the Client Source column, a distinction is made between the following cases:
- BC: Data is imported from Business Central.
- CONS: This is data from a different consolidation group (consolidation group from a previous consolidation level).
- OTHER: Data was imported from other accounting or ERP systems.
3.-6.) Settings for the respective consolidation groups per consolidation level. According to the settings in the first columns of the screenshot, clients BB-AT and BB-DE are consolidated at 100%, and client BB-HU at 70% with a proportionate consolidation within the BB-OPERATIVE consolidation group. Furthermore, in the last columns, clients BA-HOLDING with the BA-OPERATIVE , BB-HOLD-GROUP , and BC-HOLD-GROUP consolidation groups are each consolidated at 100% within the BA-HOLD-GROUP consolidation group.
Possible consolidation types:
- HOLDING: This is the holding client of the respective consolidation group.
- FULL: The client is 100% consolidated.
- QUOTE: The client is consolidated according to the set quota.
- EQUITY: Equity consolidation is carried out

1.) If new consolidation groups have been created, these can be inserted into the input mask using the Load new consolidation groups function.
2.) The function Posting Shares and Elimination is used to carry out the consolidation calculations for the respective month and the respective consolidation level (3).
ATTENTION: A consolidation level must be selected before starting the booking.
